STYLSS Mix 030: HOWIE LEE
For the 30th installment of the STYLSS Mix Series we invited Beijing 北京, China resident & prolific electronic musician HOWIE LEE to join us. He picked out some chill tracks he has been feeling, some emotional/soft stuff from his Howie Lee project as well as some music from his other alias, Cantonese Girl.

STYLSS Recipe 030: Howie Lee’s Thai Green Curry Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 x Coconut Milk
- ¼ cup chopped lemongrass
- ¼ cup chopped basil leaves
- 1 thumb-size ginger, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 4 tablespoon thai green curry paste
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 cups vegetables of your choice
- 1 pound boneless chicken
Directions:
- Bring a large pan, heat the oil until very hot, then drop in the ginger and fry until golden.
- Spoon in the curry paste and stir for few seconds.
- Put the chicken in then stir for 1 minutes until chicken turn white.
- Next, pour in the coconut milk.
- Stir in the fish sauce,sugar and lemongrass, then slow cook for 10 minutes.
- Tip in the vegetables and let it cook for another 10 minutes.
- After that, turn off the heater and put the basil leaves into the curry, quickly stir.
- Eat with boiled thai rice & enjoy with friends.
