Michael Reese aka Slurgeon is an electronic music producer and DJ originally from Washington, DC, who now calls Portland home. He co-manages Thirsty City, a monthly producer-centric event that’s become a cornerstone of the Portland beat scene, spotlighting a variety of upcoming local and visiting producers.
Slurgeon’s ability to fuse genres and explore musical boundaries ranging from garage, footwork, leftfield bass, and hip-hop has left a mark on the electronic music scene in the Pacific Northwest.
