Haárps
[MOSCOW, RUSSIA]
Haárps is a Moscow based project of producer & singer Ilya Arkhipov. The current genre combines future bass & ambient with smooth vocal lines upon roots of Russian witch house background. Elaborate production provided Haárps with a good image of remix producer as well. After dismissing the previous witch house project back in 2012, first two releases been dropped in the end of the year. «Mosses & Lichens» via Guerrilla Records & self-released «Towards the Sinister» EP. Two completely different releases showcased to old fans of Ilya’s music how things gonna change. Almost listener’s friendly electronic pop against toothcrushing & misantropic 808 vibes. Next work «Spiritual Ties» been released on Portland based imprint STYLSS in 2014. According to the press-release, ««Spiritual Ties» awakens sentiment from a divine realm. Rhapsodic lyrics paired with a relaxed melodic flow builds an astonishing balance to be recognized on his debut 8 track album. The final track «The Deepest Seize» is a true restorative labyrinth, with the arpeggiator leading you through powerful windy chasms created by the pads.»Further Haárps becomes a live band joining forces with the second guy on synths Sasha Ponomarev aka My Kingdom & live drummer. Later in 2014 Haárps been featured on Beat Team Supreme and took part in #INTERNETGHETTO RUSSIA vinyl compilation by Hyperboloid Records.
Throughout few years of existence Haárps took part in different gigs, festivals in Eastern Europe & European Russia. Band played at Witchout, Vedmin Dom, Hyperboloid Night, Abstrasentia festivals, etc.
