Since he hit the scene with his debut EP “Early Rise” in early 2014, Oregon based Lostodyssey has been quietly spilling chilled out beats throughout the pacific northwest. His tracks funnel through a heart full of sadness before sneaking an audience with your very own deep seated feels. Melancholic in nature, his gloomy self captured sample-heavy compositions settle in like a fog, cradling your innermost monologues and giving them a lofty soundtrack upon which to drift. Hypnotic in nature and largely open to interpretation, Lostodyssey’s music doesn’t push you in any particular direction, but allows your head and heart to be borne upon their own journey. Whatever favorite genre of beat music you subscribe to, Lostodyssey has probably touched on it. One would be hard pressed not to find themselves predisposed to falling into a feverish and winsome cafard with no bottom, ever sinking through the phases of gloom and beauty that comprise the suffering of human existence.
