PYN (real name Jared Wangenstein) is a musician & vocalist based out of Portland, Oregon. He has been making music electronically since 2006, but didn’t begin using it as his main creative output until late 2014. His roots are found in Hardcore, Emo, Pop Punk, and of course electronic in all its genres. PYN was conceived after a long break away from anything involving musical output. After his brief stint in a pop punk band, Mascot, he left for Portland and in turn left his music scene in Eugene, Oregon. After struggling to find a new project to join he found a new love in electronic music. After releasing “Doubt” in late 2014 he began to experiment with recording vocals. He later got the attention of STYLSS after his release of “You” on SoundCloud. Since then he has released several other tracks and was been featured on STYLSS LOVES YOU VOLUME ONE.
