“I’m scared…I can’t do this alone, was written after I accepted that I suffer from anxiety and depression. The song wasn’t meant to be a cry for help, but rather a declaration of change. From this point on I will be honest and will seek a different perspective on my surroundings. Coming to terms with this has changed my outlook on life and has made me appreciate the people around me more. Being able to express these feelings in my music has helped the processes. Music is a mark in time. It’s a blip that captures an emotion. For a moment, I am able to honestly let my feelings out without worry or concern. I hope this song can promote a dialog about our vulnerability and the gratitude we feel for our friends and family. I’m scared, but I have all of you to help me find a path of positivity and appreciation for this beautiful existence.”
