For the 35th installment of the STYLSS Mix Series we invited 20 year old hip hop producer/rapper Þórður Ingi Jónsson aka LORD PUSSWHIP to join us. He has been taking the Icelandic hip hop scene by storm with his lush, psychedelic and confrontational sounds. Inspired mainly by chopped ‘n’ screwed, horror films & females, Pusswhip has already produced for quite a few names in the underground rap world working with people like Antwon, Prada Mane, Metro Zu, Onoe Caponoe & Th@ Kid. His music mixes drugged-out VHS nostalgia with the sneer & explosiveness of punk rock.
“For this mix I imagined a party scenario where everything is really turnt up but then everyone leaves except for a few super chilled peeps so the tempo goes down. There’s some unreleased stuff on here like a track I did with Chris Barron, the singer from Spin Doctors, a track featuring Portuguese producer RAP/RAP/RAP and a Juicy J remix just for fun.”

STYLSS Recipe 035: GRANDMA PUSSWHIP’S TARTALETTES
- 60/40 mayonnaise / sour cream mix (one serving)
- Garlic power
- Curry powder
- Pre-cooked baby shrimp
Bake in tartalette cups (preferably round) covered with Edam cheese until you have a lil’ brown glaze on the cheese!
