COR is an experimental musical (written by Echavox) illustrating a drought stricken alternate reality. The inhabitants of COR have been enslaved for centuries by gluttonous invaders, and are now born and raised only to dig for oil. A group of children is visited by a celestial being, who gives them the key to restoring their planet’s natural balance.
This community-based production creates a unique and immersive atmosphere by combining live music, dance, hand-made costumes, and custom light installations.
On March 3rd in Whittier, CA – Echavox will be hosting COR: First Encounter – a free all ages preview of the full-length musical, set to debut this summer in Los Angeles.
